The Shakti is my personal favourite, as it covers the entire syllabus and the book one can completely rely on. Every year you get more than 70% of questions from this book.
I was exposed to this book when I got selected for a free coaching centre for government exams by the Government of Tamil Nadu, I got this book for free from them. Surprisingly this book has got everything covered for Group 4 exam. Try it out.
Also, concepts are neatly explained and presented in bullet form and fast reading and last-day revision.
I am yet to check this book but It is a good alternative to the Shakti guide. As I had it for my Group I exams.
The Shakti guide, cover almost all the topic needed for the general studies. Also one needs to cover ‘General English’. In general, one needs to take the list of Samacheer English books from 6 to 12 and prepare notes from it.
Alternatively one can buy General English Study Material Books from Amazon. This could be very handy for the last-day revisions.
